Jed Anderson is a rad winter boarder. Met him in Oregon and we played dodgeball together. He was still 16 so he was young enough to be hanging out with the campers and this chick was scheemin on him, so I think they made out. Fuck, I hope they made out. Jed came out with a stellar part last year in the Transworld Video and had tons of clips on the internets, cause he was always TCB. I know, I know, snowboarding, yuck, but Jed is a rad as hell skateboarder too (proof from the video up top) and he also runs a blog that is usually filled with funny-as-hell YouTube clips called Cheese Dicks

Skateboarding and Music
This post is going to consist of both skateboarding and music. On the skateboarding end of things I kinda just wanted to help hook up my friend Keven Hammond. He's a really good skateboarder with a really good style, in a shitty town (skateboard scene wise). He's been coming out and getting clips (kickflip backlip fakie Wild Rover curb) and has been out with his friend Stoner Brad taking photos and has got a couple of good ones to check out.
Backside Tailslide from the Hip. If you've ever seen this barrier (RIP) before it got torn down, you know it was no joke, as no barrier really is, but to get into a back tail, let alone ride away from it, is retarded. So sick. Yeah Kev.
This one right here is of a front nose blunt, kind of obvious, on this foundation spot in Merrimack. These dudes call this spot "The Crack Shack" and its just this old foundation in Merrimack of an old Tannery that got demolished years ago. Merrimack Leather Company is the name I believe, but anyway, yeah Kev. You're killing it. Good thing Creep is hooking it up.
annnddd...another new thing. Been hanging out with my homie Zack a bunch lately and that dude rules. He lives in Boston, but we've been friends forever, since...7th grade or something. We played in a shitty punk band together, skateboarded together every day, drove around and were just straight assholes to everyone, and him and I are 2 of the "group of friends" that I had in High School that are still in touch. Cut to the chase...The Lawrence Arms have been one of our favorite (if not THE) bands since 7th grade. Everything that Brendan and Chris do I love, so, you could guess I was stoked as fuck as soon as I found out that they had a new 7" coming out. Vinyl is hot now, make that cheddah, don't hate. 4 new songs from my favorite band, fuck yeah. The last time they released a record was about 3 years ago, and it has seen countless rotations, so I am so excited to maybe see some new material from them in the coming months. *I actually would like to recant my prior statement. While I like the majority of their work, seperate or together, I am going to say that The Broadways never really did it for me.
Brendan Kelly is the bass player for the Lawrence Arms, and he writes this blog called The Bad Sandwich Chronicles where he talks about his life as a musician/bartender, his opinions on people and punk rock, and things about Chicago. He is a well versed (and well read) dude that puts a lot of time and effort into what he's doing, and I really respect him as a musician, a writer, and after meeting him, an all around dude, and I can gladly say that I will be purchasing 2 copies of their record (directly from them as to not support that Newbury Comics scum if possible) to support his endeavors.
I will leave you with something funny..
